Three benefits of laughter

Not just a funny fact

Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet, consectetur adipiscing elit. Sed malesuada faucibus ex nec ultricies. Donec mattis egestas nisi non pretium. Suspendisse nec eros ut erat facilisis maximus. In congue et leo in varius. Vestibulum sit amet felis ornare, commodo orci ut, feugiat lorem.

Leaders are able to see humor in the unexpected. They are not afraid to share stories and laugh with others.

1. Alleviates tense moments. Laughter is a great way to relieve the tension of a moment. When nerves get stretched, a humorous thought is often the ticket to return to sanity.

2. Builds camaraderie. When we share “inside jokes” we build a strong bond of common ground. Tom, Dave, and I developed a true team attitude through the humorous events we shared at the dozens of conferences we would go on to present.

3. Relieves stress. Laughter is a great stress reliever. At the end of a tough day I often recall recent humorous events and laugh about them. Sometimes the laughter is even aloud. Even on a bad day, some humor existed if we spend time to think about it.
