Everybody knows projects need to have a leader. However
knowing who that leader should be is not always selected in
the wisest manner.

King Arthur was able to pull a sword out of a stone when
others had filed to do so. However prior to this event the
wizard Merlin had mentored Arthur so he could be worthy of
leadership.

Project management also takes training. Appointing
someone to lead based on other criteria is dangerous and
could possibly lead to the project’s failure.
